Ranchi: CA Deepak Banka attended the inaugural ceremony of the 39th National Under-9 Open & Girls Chess Championship 2026, held at Sarala Birla University, Ranchi, as the Guest of Honour. He encouraged and interacted with young chess players who had arrived from across the country to participate in the prestigious national tournament.
Addressing the gathering, Deepak Banka emphasized that chess is much more than a sport—it is a powerful tool for developing strategic thinking, patience, discipline, concentration, and sound decision-making skills among children.
Concluding his address, he remarked,
