Banka, Bihar: A dedicated service camp for Kanwar pilgrims was inaugurated at the Sharda Foundation Dharamshala located at Tarpatia, Katoria, on the renowned Sultanganj–Deoghar Kanwar route in Banka district. The camp was formally inaugurated by Shri Sanjay Sharda along with his family members.
Organised during the holy month of Shravan, the service camp has been established to provide essential facilities to thousands of Shiva devotees undertaking the sacred Kanwar Yatra from Sultanganj to Baba Baidyanath Dham, Deoghar.
The camp offers a range of free services, including comfortable resting arrangements, safe drinking water, first-aid and medical assistance, ensuring that pilgrims can continue their spiritual journey with greater comfort and care. Volunteers at the camp are also assisting devotees with guidance and other essential support throughout the pilgrimage.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sanjay Sharda said that serving Kanwar pilgrims is a matter of devotion and privilege. He emphasized that the initiative reflects the Foundation’s commitment to humanitarian service and its continuous efforts to support devotees during one of the country’s largest annual religious pilgrimages.
The Sharda Foundation has been actively contributing to social and community welfare, and this service camp stands as another meaningful initiative dedicated to serving society through compassion, faith, and selfless service. The camp is expected to benefit thousands of pilgrims travelling to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva at Baba Baidyanath Dham during the Shravan season.
