Ranchi: CA Deepak Banka participated in a tree plantation drive organized by the Ranchi Municipal Corporation and the Earth Foundation at Swarnrekha College of Nursing, Bariatu, as part of the nationwide “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign aimed at promoting environmental conservation.
During the programme, more than 100 fruit-bearing, shade-giving, and medicinal saplings were distributed among the students of the college to encourage environmental awareness and sustainable practices. Joining the participants, Deepak Banka planted saplings and highlighted the importance of protecting nature for future generations.
Addressing the gathering, he emphasized that tree plantation is a meaningful step toward ensuring a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment. He urged everyone, especially the youth, to actively participate in environmental conservation and take responsibility for preserving ecological balance.
On the occasion, the nursing students pledged not only to plant the saplings but also to nurture and care for them until they grow into healthy trees. The initiative reflected a collective commitment to environmental protection and inspired young people to contribute towards building a sustainable future.
